Glow WorK: Co-working & Childcare

Welcome to Glow WorK: a co-working & childcare program at Glow Worm! Open to kids age 2 to 5 years, parents stay on site while their littles are cared for in our classroom with our trusted, on-staff childcare providers. Sessions and memberships are now available for booking and purchase below!

We’ve created Glow Work after years of observing parents in our space who need a little more support or free time away from their young kids.

The ones who are trying to get a bit of work done, but keep getting interrupted. The ones who want to meet up with a friend and catch up, but keep getting interrupted. The ones who want to read a book while their kiddo plays, but keep getting interrupted. You see the theme here, right?

So how does this work?

Drop your kids in the classroom and stay on site. Bring your laptop, bring a book, sit and crochet, meet up and have coffee with a friend, or enjoy a meal from our cafe in peace. Your time is yours and we’ll only bug you if it’s urgent or your kiddo needs a diaper change. Reserved co-working stations are set up in our cafe for you, complete with privacy panels, power stations and cozy seating.

Our rate for one child is just $35 per 2 hour session and includes unlimited drip coffee & fiber internet. Add a sibling for $10/session extra per sibling. Co-working sessions are booked in 2 hour increments with the option to add one hour blocks.

Members & bulk pass holders get perks like cafe & bakery, retail & private rental discounts.

Glow Work is co-led by Katie Read & Sydney Ross. With Katie on the caregiver side and Sydney on the childcare side, families are in great hands knowing that they are taken care of and supported.

Kids will enjoy arts & crafts, free play, music and movement, story time, sensory play, and more. Parents will have access to open air workspaces with free AT&T fiber internet access and unlimited drip coffee.

Meet our Program Manager

Sydney Ross is an experienced and passionate childcare provider, parent support specialist, certified free play facilitator, and mother of three. She is excited for your children to experience engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities including story time, music & movement, and arts & crafts under her guidance and care.

She cannot wait to invite you into our space and make magic with your kiddos!

Glow WorK Hours & Rates

2 hour sessions = $35/first child + $10/additional sibling
Co-working + care sessions are bookable in two hour increments, with a minimum of two hours per session. Caregivers must stay on site during co-working + care sessions.

Glow WorK Memberships & Bulk Passes

Memberships and bulk passes start at 4 sessions per month. All Glow WorK members & bulk pass holders receive discounts in our cafe & bakery and retail shop.

Memberships and bulk passes are on a first come, first serve basis. Memberships are limited.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Between now and when this program starts in August, we will be revamping our cafe space! We’ll have plenty of reserved seating in our cafe for co-working caregivers, and in the future, we will have soundproof pods & a private meeting room available for an additional cost.

  • Kids will be in the classroom during co-working sessions. We will have plenty of fun activities for them, such as music, movement, circle time, story time, art & STEM projects, sensory play, and more!

  • Enjoy unlimited drip coffee during your co-working session! Anything else can be purchased in our cafe & bakery. (Members get a discount!)

    Outside food and drink are not permitted for Glow WorK, aside from the nut-free snack you can send for your child.

  • No, this is not a drop-off program. Parents or guardians must stay on site for the duration of their co-working session. If you are interested in going off site, please view our Parents Day Out information.

  • Diaper changes are the responsibility of the parent due to health code regulations. Please arrive with your child in a fresh diaper and we will come find you if they need a diaper change.

  • A refillable water bottle and nut-free snack. Children should be dressed in comfortable play clothes. You’re also welcome to purchase snacks in the cafe.

  • We know that things happen (illness, emergencies, etc). We require 24 hours notice for cancellations, and we will provide a store credit or hours back onto your membership.

    Customers who cancel with less than 24 hours notice will receive 50% store credit or hours on their membership.

    Customers can reschedule up to 2 hours before their session from their confirmation email.

  • Our minimum for co-working + care sessions is 2 hours. You can book back-to-back sessions for a maximum of 6 hours of childcare per day. There is no limit on the number of hours a child can attend co-work + care sessions per day or week.

    (Parents Day Out sessions are limited to 10 hours per week per child.)

  • Based on our resources and daily capacity, we feel it is best at this time to allow children age 2 to 5 into our co-working program. This does not apply to bulk pass holders and Glow WorK members (not one-off visitors) who attended Glow WorK on or before September 28, 2025.
