That’s why we started the Glow Worm Exchange: a retail program aimed at providing our customers with gently used and new kids clothing to shop, sell & trade for store credit here in our cafe.
How it works
Step 1: Bring in your clothing
We buy all seasons, but in-season will take priority when the racks are filling up! We accept good-used or new condition kids clothing size newborn to youth medium (10/12). We do not accept shoes or accessories. Our focus is on organic or mid-to-high end clothing brands. Make an appointment or drop off for review during designated hours. Step 2: Item review or drop-off
Schedule a time to drop off your clothing items for review, or schedule an appointment so you don’t have to wait!
Item review hours are Monday-Friday from 9:30am to 1pm. Item drop-off hours are weekdays from 1pm to 5:30pm and 8am to 5:30pm on weekends. Hours may vary based on staff time off and holidays.
Be sure to label your bags or bins with your first & last name, email address and phone number.
Offers for drop-off items will be sent within 3 days of drop-off. We choose the items we can resell and will make you an offer.
Step 3: Buy, sell or trade
We’ll offer cash or a store credit for accepted items. The store credit can be used at Glow Worm for play sessions, classes, special events, the retail shop, and in the cafe & bakery. Items not selected will be ready for pickup once your offer has been sent to you, or immediately after your item review appointment.

This list is a guideline for the brands that we accept and carry. We will accept other brands & some bamboo and TENCEL clothing. We focus on mid-to-high end kids clothing brands and prioritize brands with GOTS certification. The following list is simply a guideline so you have a better understanding for what we buy and sell.
