Enriching, educational part-time childcare for kids age 2.5 to 5
This program is best for fully potty trained children age 2.5 to 5 and caregivers who are seeking to provide their child with a fun, engaging environment for a few hours each week.
Flexible enrollment is available. Book your kiddo for up to 9 hours of Parents Day Out a week!

Meet our Program Manager
Sydney Ross is an experienced and passionate childcare provider, parent support specialist, certified free play facilitator, and mother of three. She is excited for your children to experience engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities including story time, music & movement, and arts & crafts under her guidance and care.
She cannot wait to invite you into our space and make magic with your kiddos!

The daily rate for each child covers the cost of all supplies, as well as ensures that we are able to pay our teacher a living wage while also allowing her to have ample lesson planning time, providing the best experience for your children.

We accept up to 8 children for each Parents Day Out class. Parents Day Out participants may be in the same session as our Glow WorKing families, whose parents stay on site. The age range for Parents Day Out is potty trained 3 to 5 year olds.
The age range for Glow WorK: Co-working & Care is 12 months to 5 years. You can find that info here.

Lunch and snack are not included. We ask that you pack a nut-free snack for your child to have during snack time, and a refillable water bottle. If someone forgets a snack, we will provide a snack that day and follow the dietary restrictions on your child’s intake form. We may charge the card on file for your family to cover the cost of the snack.

Unfortunately, due to state laws, we are not able to changes diapers or pull-ups as part of this program, so we ask that you only enroll your child if they are fully potty trained and able to independently use the restroom.

Our Parents Day Out program is set at a very limited capacity, so we are not able to offer sibling discounts at this time.

We ask for 24 hours notice if a child is unable to attend their scheduled Parents Day Out class. Parents will be provided with a store credit to use on a future PDO date if they cancel within this window. Because we have extremely limited capacity for our PDO program, refunds and store credits will not be provided if the class is cancelled less than 24 hours before the start time. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of Glow Worm.

We give parents a 5 minute grace period to pickup their child at no charge. For every minute beyond the 5 minute grace period, parents may be charged an additional $10 to the card kept on file.

All of this is covered once you’ve completed the initial registration. You’ll receive an email with detailed intake forms, a liability waiver & tips on a successful Parents Day Out for you and your child!
We have staff on-site who are CPR certified and trained to follow specific protocol in case of emergency.
