Meet Our Camp Leaders

Katie
Camp Manager
Katie is the founder or Glow Worm Cafe & Play and is responsible for all of the behind-the-scenes administrative work that goes into planning the camps! She’s your first point of contact for questions involving our camps and your campers.

Sydney
Childcare Program Manager & Head Camp Counselor
Sydney is an experienced childcare provider, parent support specialist & certified free play facilitator. She also leads the Parents Day Out program at Glow Worm, and is one of our facilitators for Cocoon, a weekly new parent group at Glow Worm.

Zoe
Childcare Assistant
If you’ve been to Glow Worm, it’s highly likely that you’ve met Zoe! You may have even hired her as a babysitter. She’s been on our team since 2022 and has several years of childcare experience, in addition to being the oldest of four siblings. Zoe is passionate about taking care of your kiddos, and has a friendly, kind and helpful approach to learning and assisting young children.

AGE REQUIREMENTS & COST
Little Learners Winter Break Camp is for age 2.5 to 5.
We accept 10 campers per week. Campers must be fully potty-trained.
SCHEDULE
We offer two half day camps over winter break:
Monday, December 22nd through Wednesday, December 24th from 9am to 1pm
Monday, December 29th through Wednesday, December 31st from 9am to 1pm
Weekly rates for half day camps are $130/child which includes:
Snack
Daily programming including movement, art & circle time
All supplies & activities
A 50% deposit is required to hold your camper’s spot. This deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to backfill your spot from our waitlist.

WHAT TO BRING
Sack lunch, refillable water bottle, comfy clothes & shoes, and any medications your child needs during camp hours.

Camps take place in our classroom, which is filled with age-appropriate activities, toys, art supplies and games.

We provide healthy and yummy snacks from our commercial kitchen.

We have decided to offer this camp only for our younger campers since it’s such a short period of time. Winter break camps are open to potty trained children age 2.5 to 5.

While items made with peanuts or tree nuts are clearly marked in our bakery case, our classroom is a nut-free environment and we ask that you refrain from packing any food for your camper that contains nuts.
