Meet Our Camp Leaders

    Sydney

    Childcare Program Manager & Head Camp Counselor

    Sydney is an experienced childcare provider, parent support specialist & certified free play facilitator. She also leads the Parents Day Out program at Glow Worm, and is one of our facilitators for Cocoon, a weekly new parent group at Glow Worm.

  • Zoe

    Childcare Assistant

    Ms. Zoe is our Childcare Assistant and has been a part of the Glow Worm team since 2022. Not only is she an awesome big sister to three younger siblings, but she’s also the big sister to every kiddo that enters our classroom. Zoe’s creative, soft and silly personality draws all of our Part Time Pals right to her.

    Katie

    Camp Manager

    Katie is the founder or Glow Worm Cafe & Play and is responsible for all of the behind-the-scenes administrative work that goes into planning the camps! She’s your first point of contact for questions involving our camps and your campers.

The Details

AGE REQUIREMENTS & COST

Little Learners Winter Break Camp is for age 3 to 5.

We accept 12 campers per week. Campers must be fully potty-trained.

SCHEDULE

We offer two half day camps over winter break:

Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23 from 9am to 1pm
Monday, December 28 through Wednesday, December 20 from 9am to 1pm

Weekly rates for half day camps are $135/child which includes:

  • Snack

  • Daily programming including movement, art & circle time

  • All supplies & activities

A 50% deposit is required to hold your camper’s spot. This deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to backfill your spot from our waitlist.

Camp Glow Worm Half Day Schedule

  • Camp Hours: 9am-1pm

  • Drop off: 8:45am-9:00am

  • Pick up: 12:45pm-1pm

WHAT TO BRING

Sack lunch, refillable water bottle, comfy clothes & shoes, and any medications your child needs during camp hours.

FAQ

  • Camps take place in our classroom, which is filled with age-appropriate activities, toys, art supplies and games.

  • We provide healthy and yummy snacks from our commercial kitchen.

  • We have decided to offer this camp only for our younger campers since it’s such a short period of time. Winter break camps are open to potty trained children age 3 to 5.

  • While items made with peanuts or tree nuts are clearly marked in our bakery case, our classroom is a nut-free environment and we ask that you refrain from packing any food for your camper that contains nuts.
