    When you enter our space, you’ll find a cafe & bakery open to anyone who loves good coffee & food and a cozy, welcoming environment. While we don’t allow outside food & drink, we have options for everyone from local kid sized smoothies to mushroom lattes!

The Glow Worm Difference

Glow Worm Cafe & Play is Louisville’s Reggio Emilia and Montessori inspired play space, alongside a gourmet coffee shop and bakery. Our Play Lounge and outdoor Play Patio are uniquely designed for the comfort & enjoyment of both kids and caregivers.

But we are more than just a play space.

Since 2021, we have been a community hub for families and neighbors, offering stress-free private parties, classes, special events & a cafe for anyone to enjoy. We also offer flexible childcare options, from Glow WorK: Co-working & Care to Parents Day Out.

If you’re coming to play, we highly recommend booking online to guarantee a spot to play, especially during inclement weather!

About Glow Worm

Glow Worm started in 2017 as a pop-up children’s clothing boutique, and as our customer base grew, so did the need for a space for parents and young kids in our community.
