Every Parent Support Group

A twice-weekly parent support & play group for all parents, regardless of gender or the age of themselves or their children. Join us on Tuesdays from 10am-11:30am or Thursdays from 2pm-3:30pm.

This group is included with Glow Worm memberships.

The Every Parent Group was created because we know that parenting isn’t linear, and siloing ourselves by gender or the age of parents and children doesn’t build stronger communities.

It creates exclusivity where there should be connection.

In a world that is increasingly more online and less face to face, we aim to rebuild our society on a micro-level with in person connection, interaction and communication. From brand new to seasoned parents, we welcome all to share and gain insight and support from other parents in their community through conversation and not-so-scary group games and icebreakers!

Kids and parents of all ages are welcome for this play and support group. Come as you are. We know trying something new with a group of strangers can be scary and anxiety-inducing, and we also believe that community is the root of all things good in the world. So take a leap of faith and join us!

What to Expect

This is a group for ALL parents. It doesn’t matter how you identify as long as you’re a parent. Your kids can be any age. You can be any age. You can come alone or bring your kids. Whether you’re a seasoned parent or brand new at this, we welcome to you circle up with us.
In our Play Lounge! It’s basically a play session with a stronger focus on the caregivers. Tables and chairs will be arranged so you can easily participate in the group while also remaining accessible to your kids (if they joined you).
$10 + tax per adult and kids are FREE!
This is a facilitator-led group. The group is primarily led by Katie, the owner & founder of Glow Worm. She’s a parent of two and just wants all parents to feel supported, safe and connected.
Sign up for a session and book one spot per adult. Kids are free for this support group. You can come by yourself or bring your kids.
When you arrive, you’ll check in at the cafe counter just like you do for a play session. Order something if you’d like and head back to the Play Lounge. The tables and chairs will be arranged in a way that allows for conversation between adults and access to your kids.
In our support circle, we will introduce ourselves, and play easy and not-so-scary icebreaker games to get to know one another, and offer shared support and perspective as we are all in different stages of our parenting journey.
There’s no pressure to share or participate, but we think you’ll want to. Glow Worm always brings a fun bunch of folks to our support groups and we’ve watched the strongest friendships stem from our support groups!
